Hello everyone,
In last 48hrs there has been a major spike in RPKI signed prefixes in the Indian routing table. Our friends at Airtel 4G AS45609 signed all their 3574 prefixes and that added 3479 valid in the Indian routing table.
This addition of 3479 signed prefixes has taken Indian signed percentage from 32% to 41% and is visible as a major jump in the graph.

*So where do we stand now? * In countries in this region, we are doing better than China, Vietnam and Japan. Still, a long way to go as 59% of our table is still unsigned and going forward it will be more challenging as large IP holders have mostly signed or are in process and will finish it soon. Our friends at Tata Comm + Jio have already finished, for the most part, BSNL has signed 55% of its table and RCom as well. We are getting closer to a state where large networks would have a signed their prefixes and going forward will be lots of smaller networks. A large part of Indian Govt. hosted content by NIC is also signed as NIC has signed 100% of their prefixes originated from AS4758.

As some of you might be aware - we are closely tracking it and I have a public Grafana dashboard with this data: https://graphs.muc.anuragbhatia.com/d/DPIj_47Mk/rpki?orgId=1&from=now-90...
This is a good time to consider validating prefixes and dropping invalids! :)
Thanks to all the networks who have been working hard to push RPKI here in India!
