this was my major intent/goal. i saw the posting begging for new policy
proposals, when i thought it should be asking something more like "are
there any policy changes that are desperately/seriously needed at this
time?"
we seem to send the message that the more policy proposals the better.
it's a culture of policy production, when what we need is a simple
stable environment so we can concentrate our ever scarcer (ipv4 and
financial) resources on productive business.

possibly. though they do seem to have deep expertise in moving deck
chairs. :)

if we did not have a culture of trivial policy proposal creation we
would have less policy proposals and thus less need for (long) meetings.
