And, Mr. Chair, I'm arguing that a more recent and opposing precedent was set at APNIC 25 - that being that it is not appropriate for APNIC to reserve resources in a way that will permanently remove their use from the public Internet, and that any proposals requiring such resource reservation and withdrawal from the Internet should be referred to the IETF. I make this claim based on the transcript and outcome of the debate on prop-058 at APNIC 25.
I therefore believe that there are conflicting precedents on this issue. Regards, David
