Every new beginning has its own challenge and with time and encouragement from
leaders/teachers like you, gets mass acceptance/engagement. It's then only that
the real change takes place-Internet would be the enabler and biggest leveller.
Your comment is positive & indicative of this coming change.
NIR in India is not an all-inclusive solution but definitely, an important piece
of the jigsaw puzzle of setting-up the Internet platform/community for the
billion plus users.

I haven't really seen the general population in the whole Asia Pacific
region participating in APNIC meetings. While the meetings are open to
all comers, it tends to be the service providers and other interested
parties who these policies impact who participate.
Certainly I do agree that more people should be encouraged to
participate - if we got a bigger portion of the ISPs in the entire
region I'd be happier! :-)
