Re: [apnic-talk] [Apnic-announce] Application for India NIR - Call for C
Internet is touching or has a potential to touch 500 million (we have 500 million
mobile connections).
Dear Mark, I don't understand just because of the language these 430 million
people don't have any say in policy making or that matter even following it.
Moreso, we have our own set of security challenges, which with unique IP
allocation to each individual has its 2 cents contribution to the solution but
without India model pricing, it is not possible.
Reasons are more or similar when countries like China, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam,
Hong Kong, Korea went for NIR.....
...your support and more inputs would help us to make this endeavour a success.
Regards,
Naresh

Hi Naresh,
Perhaps you can elaborate on why every state holder of Internet
eco-system in India is looking forward to have a NIR. What benefit are
they expecting to get out of having one?
Mark.
