RE: [apnic-talk] [apnic-announce] New Member Services Helpdesk now avail
Toll free numbers within the Asia-Pacific region are only available in a
small minority of the economies served by APNIC. Therefore provision of
a toll-free service by APNIC would represent a heavy cross-subsidy of
service to a subset of APNIC members. Furthermore, that subsidy would
heavily favour developed economies at the expense of developing
countries of the region.
For these reasons, there is currently no plan to provide international
toll-free services.
