Limited spaces apply and while we have target participations with PITA & APNIC members, we can also consider additional participations subject to availability of spaces.
TENTATIVE AGENDA: The workshop will be single track, spending 3 days on systems, and 3 days on BGP routing/multihoming. Content will potentially include:
1. network security (includes virus/spam/firewall/intrusion detection) 2. monitoring (isp network level) will be good 3. server's load balancing/clustering/redundancy 4. Design and utilization of wireless technologies in net building 5. intro to BGP 6. eBGP presentations and labs
simple eBGP route filtering as-path filtering use of MED and local preference eBGP to multiple ISPs
7. introduction to iBGP 8. extra presentations on
ebgp good practices troubleshooting
Obviously all this will easily take more than the 6 days we've been planning around, so we are working on refinement at the moment.
A meeting on Sunday afternoon/evening for introductions and a short conference style event is also planned before starting the workshop proper on Monday 20th June.
