[sig-policy] Call for volunteers to be Policy SIG Co-chair
Dear colleagues
The two-year term of one of the two Policy SIG Co-chairs, Ching-Heng Ku,
ends in February. Therefore, APNIC is seeking a volunteer to serve as
Co-chair of the Policy SIG. The Co-chair is a voluntary position whose
responsibilities include:
- Assisting with chairing the Policy SIG session
- Working with the Chair and other Co-chair to develop the agenda
- Posting proposals and information about the Policy SIG to the
Policy SIG mailing list
- Working with the Chair and other Co-chair to encourage and
facilitate discussion on the mailing list and at the APNIC meeting

The nomination deadline is Tuesday, 22 February 2011.
If there are any volunteers, elections to select the new Co-chair will
be held in the Policy SIG meeting at APNIC 31 in Hong Kong SAR, China,
21 - 25 February 2011.
Candidates need to be present at the meeting to be eligible.
All SIG Chairs and Co-chairs undertake this work on a voluntary basis.
The APNIC Secretariat speaks on behalf of the community in saying we are
very appreciative of the work done by the Chairs and Co-chairs.
