you may also want to look at geoff's (and others') stats that show how
little time burning a /8 at the normal rate buys us. which is why this
proposal, so that the last one actually buys some long term entry for
new folk and new uses. i.e. that our children can have some small bit
of what was, for us, a plentiful opportunity, in contrast to our burning
the bridge as we cross it.
