APNIC member surveys include a general question about the ease of applying for APNIC resources. In the 2007 survey, participants were asked to respond to the following statement: "1.6 The processes and requirements to obtain IPv4, IPv6 or ASN resources are clear and straightforward" Two member surveys have been conducted since the IPv6 policy document was adopted in 2002. In the responses to those surveys, the 'plan for 200 assignments' criteria was not mentioned as a barrier to applying for an IPv6 allocation.
