Dear SIG members Call for nominations for Policy SIG Co-Chair -------------------------------------------- Due to the resignation of Eugene Li, APNIC is seeking a volunteer to serve as Co-chair of the Policy Special Interest Group(SIG). The Co-chair is a volunteer position whose responsibilities include undertaking any of the tasks normally performed by the SIG Chair, if requested. This may include: - chairing the SIG session - developing the agenda - posting proposals and information about the SIG to the SIG mailing list - encouraging and facilitating discussion on the mailing list and at the APNIC meeting For more information about the role of Co-chair, please see the draft SIG guidelines at: http://www.apnic.net/meetings/archive/sigs/draft-guidelines-v001.pdf If you are interested in becoming a Co-Chair, please include a short biography and description of your interest in an email to <sig at apnic dot net> and CC <sig-policy-chair at apnic dot net>. The deadline for receiving nominations is 28 February 2007. There will be an election at the Policy SIG meeting at APNIC 23 in Bali, Indonesia, 1 March 2007 to choose the new Co-chair.
