Final stage of APIDT IPv4 address space disposal now open for tenders
________________________________________________________________________
The Asia Pacific Internet Development Trust (APIDT) today opened the
third and final stage of its IPv4 address space disposal.
As previously announced, the Trust intends to sell its remaining address
holding (43.192/11) via a ‘Sale by Tender’ process. The Request for
Tender document, Tender Response Form, and Standard IPv4 Address Space
Transfer Agreement are now available with the opening of Stage 3.
https://www.apidt.org/stage-3/
In Stage 3, the block of address space being sold will be subdivided
into smaller blocks. Tenders may be submitted for one or more (or all)
of these blocks:
Stage 3: 43.192/11 Block Size: /16 Number of blocks: 32
Stage 3 will close on 30 October 2020 at 17:00 (UTC +10). Successful
tenders will be shortlisted thereafter and it is expected that transfers
will be completed by the end of 2020.
Stage 2, which offered the 43.128/10 block of IPv4, has been successfully
completed and the transfer to the successful tenderer is in progress.
Under the published tender process, KPMG and Maddocks shortlisted and
selected the successful tender, which was an offer for the entire block.
The Trustees would like to thank all organizations that submitted a
tender in Stage 2 for participating in the process. After the final
stage is complete the total funds raised will be announced, along with
other details that can be disclosed at that time.
International consulting firm, KPMG, and legal firm, Maddocks, were
commissioned by APIDT to advise on the design of the sale process, to
assess tenders in line with the agreed criteria, and to manage the
tender stages.
