Re: [apnic-talk] v4Now Announcement: Update on Current Available Ranges
As Paul pointed out earlier, APNIC has the IPv4 transfers listing page
available - the short link is: http://www.apnic.net/pre-approval-listing
Also a reminder that APNIC Talk has a charter published on the mailing
list page - if you click on APNIC Talk, it will appear:
http://www.apnic.net/mailing-lists
I've pasted the charter below. It is deliberately short and light, but it
is clear that posting sales materials is not permitted.
---
APNIC Talk Charter:
The APNIC Talk mailing list was created to provide a forum
for members of the Internet community, from any region, to discuss
relevant topics to network engineering and Internet governance. This
forum is also a space to discuss specific implementation issues and
share other technical information for the benefit of the community.
Anyone is welcome to join APNIC Talk, but participants are
asked to respect the opinions of others, keeping in mind cultural
differences. Debate is encouraged, but personal attacks and inflammatory
language is prohibited.
Subscribers may not post sales materials.

Thanks
Tony

Ranges - July 2014
There is a list of people with approvals.... but, it isn't easy to contact
them... its a blind system.
There is a transfer mailing list.. but I don't think it has many people on
it.. and new needs come along and they have no idea... even apnic-talk is
the same, but has a lot more people.

Wouldn't a better way to this for APNIC to creating a transfer listing
service similar to RIPEs?
(http://www.ripe.net/lir-services/resource-management/listing)? Note
that the URL has empty listings as you need to be logged in to see the
transfers. This way the people interested have a authoritative source and
the people not interested doesn't have to read it?
