[apnic-talk] InternetNZ's transition process ideas document
This community may find the following document recently produced by
IntenetNZ useful as it considers its own response to the upcoming
transition conversation.
InternetNZ has produced the following document:
"Process Suggestions for the transition of NTIA's Internet DNS
responsibilities to the Global Multistakeholder Community"
https://internetnz.net.nz/system/files/pages/2014/2014-03-transition-process-ideas-internetnz.pdf
This paper makes some comments for ICANN and the community to consider
in developing what InternetNZ is calling a conversation - a
conversation to develop the transition plan the NTIA has asked ICANN
to convene a process to deliver. The paper covers the following
topics:
* the purpose & scope of the conversation
* the principles that should guide the conversation
* the process that makes sure the conversation achieves the purpose
* mechanisms and their roles in the conversation
