[apnic-talk] whois query problem
I am having trouble with an inverse query to the APNIC server, can anybody
help? I hope this is the right mail list. I am using whois-4.4.5 from
http://www.linux.it/~md/software/ by Marco d'Itri.
The specific commands that I am trying are:
$> whois -i origin AS7496
$> whois -a -h whois.apnic.net -i origin AS7496
Similar queries to the RIPE server work (ie for AS2047).
Can anybody help me? Is it a syntax problem or don't reverse lookups work
on the APNIC server?
I have included the output from the queries below, if anybody can help I
would be grateful. Thanks,
Andrew Wallace
