APNIC 17 - Final call for proposals

  17th APNIC Open Policy Meeting
  23-27 February 2004
  Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia


Dear APNIC members and friends,

The deadline for proposals to be discussed in the Special Interest Group
(SIGs) at APNIC 17 is now only two weeks away.

Proposals are welcome from anyone interested in the management of
Internet Resources in the Asia Pacific region. Policy proposals must be
submitted by 19 January 2004.


SIG proposal types
------------------

a) Informational (I) - typically a status report delivered to convey 
   information to the audience.

b) Policy proposal (P) - a proposal which requires feedback and
   community consensus before it can proceed.


Policy proposals (P) must be submitted by 19 January 2004 to be
considered for consensus decisions at the Open Policy Meeting. If you
would like to submit a policy proposal, please use the online form at:

    http://www.apnic.net/cgi-bin/policy_proposal.pl

Alternatively you can send your proposal in TEXT format to the
appropriate SIG chair, cc'ing <sig at apnic dot net>. Please mark your
submission as either "I" or "P".


Policy proposal (P) requirements
--------------------------------

Submissions should be:
- in TEXT format
- received no later than 19 January 2004
- relevant to the SIG
