I am writing to brief APNIC55 Routing Security Forum here.
Our SIG forum takes place during APNIC community meeting as usual.
And this time saw many a people there. Great!
There were four presentations in our forum:
1) Aftab Siddiqui (ISOC) provided insights into IRR database issues and encourage network operators to use hierarchical as-set .
2) Yanbiao Li (CNIC@CAS) shared observations on the issues of the operational granularity of RPKI ROAs and presented a novel scheme to encode ROAs with bitmaps for flexible and fine-grained management.
3)Fang Gao (Zhongguancun Laboratory) discussed the IP spoofing situation on the Internet and corresponding technologies to prevent spoofing attacks on the network layer, including existing and emerging SAV mechanisms.
4)Tom Harrison (APNIC) made a brief introduction to RPKI Signed Checklists and its usecases.
