I may be out of the loop for a while, I am just wondering, Is
this global policy proposal related to APNIC policy proposal
" prop-069 Global policy proposal for the allocation of IPv4
blocks to Regional Internet Registries " ?
It is.
Since the version that the ARIN region has passed is likely to be
interpreted to be substantially different from the version that
has already been endorsed by the APNIC EC and in other regions,
the authors of this new proposal draft feel that prop-069 will
fail as a global policy that can be passed onto the ICANN Board
of Directors for ratification.
