APNIC EC endorses policy decisions from APNIC 36

The APNIC Executive Council (EC) has endorsed the consensus policy
decisions reached at the APNIC 36 Open Policy Meeting.
The proposals endorsed by the EC are listed below:
- prop-108: Suggested changes to the APNIC Policy Development
Process

- prop-107: AS number transfer policy proposal

- prop-105: Distribution of returned IPv4 address (Modification of
prop-088)

All three policies will be implemented immediately following the
conclusion of the Document Editorial Process.

It should be noted that prop-105 is subject to actions by the IANA. This
policy will not become active until the IANA Recovered Address Pool
becomes active in accordance with the "Global policy for post exhaustion
IPv4 allocation mechanisms by the IANA".
Under this policy, the Recovered IPv4 Pool will remain inactive until
the first RIR has less than a total of a /9 in its inventory of IPv4
address space.
The APNIC Secretariat will make appropriate announcements at that time.
