Making Allocations from 175/8 and 182/8 soon _______________________________________________________________________
Hi PACNOG Community,
In August 2009, APNIC received two IPv4 address blocks from IANA. These were:
- 175/8 - 182/8
Reachability and routability testing is now complete and exceeds 96% for all prefixes.
APNIC will soon be allocating from these prefixes.
Please update your routing filters and network configurations accordingly.
Please also double-check and release any blacklisted IP addresses from the above ranges, as they now represent fresh /8 blocks.
Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please contact the APNIC helpdesk:
helpdesk@apnic.net
Kind regards, Elly ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, team.
Pardon my follow-ups to your notifications, Elly. :)

Please update your bogon filters accordingly. If you employ such filters, consider an automated update process through the bogon route-server project:
https://www.team-cymru.org/Services/Bogons/routeserver.html
This takes the pain out of updating filters, and avoids the problem of outdated filters as well. You can read more about bogons and filtering types here:

Thanks! Rob.
