Network Monitoring & Management Workshop: 02-03 Dec
Session code: Track1 NMM
This workshop is designed for engineers and system staff at ISPs and large networks, including academic networks who are involved with system management, network monitoring and management, incident response and security. This course is for those who need to manage Network operations and NOCs. Proper network instrumentation is a fundamental requirement for realizing infrastructure security at both the network and desktop level, and this course emphasizes the security benefits for the tools and the techniques covered. The agenda of topics is presented below and labs constitute about 60% of the course.

BGP Operations and Security Best Practices Workshop: 04 & 08 Dec

An advanced BGP training to look into the networking issues such as unreachability of networks due to mishaps, poor routing planning & issues, security or abuse, etc., and the approach to secure internet routing and best practices

Proposal for speaking at the Technical Conference are much welcome, for the opportunity to discuss and exchange on key developments, network issues, troubleshooting, and for the benefit of learning and networking with other operators for different network experiences across the Pacific.

Hello everyone - I'll be leading this track this coming week. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you who join. Details for this online workshop are available at:

We'll be using Zoom and we have an online, cloud-based training environment using Linux servers and Cisco routers and switches running Cisco IOS. You will do exercises on both and each person will be assigned a Linux host as part of the workshop.
