Dear All,
We are pleased to announce that PacNOG 22 will be held in Honiara on 25-29 June, 2018.
Our apologies for the delayed announcements and we will shortly provide more details for your process to organise approvals and travels.
Program will be the usual 5 days with Conference and Tutorial on Day 1 followed by 4 days hands on workshop
Workshop package are now being finalised for their titles and syllabus to be provided in a few days' time, and will be considering the following:-.
* Track 1 - IP/ISP Network routing Best Practices and trouble shooting
* Track 2 - IP/ISP network Security
Conference and tutorial topics are open for proposals from the community and via this email we will be pleased to invite the community for proposals to do presentation and talks for the opportunity to share and present on your network case study/experiences or other relevant operational topics of high interests addressing issues, development.
Call for proposals to do presentation and/or Tutorial: Kindly send your interests and proposals to me as soon as possible before the cut off date of 30 May 2018, where we will check if there is another need to send out a 2nd round invite, if spaces are still available. First come first serve will be the basis of considering proposals, prioritizing on the practical relevance and interests level of topics proposed. Feel to send us your questions /discuss your interests in advance.
Venue and Participant Information is now being sorted out and to be released for the Event Information.
All the above information should be released any time before the month end to allow at least 2-3 weeks travel approvals and registration to attend.
PRE-REGISTRATIONS - currently standby for us to update on a pre-registration information and link.
Appreciation and Acknowledgements
Host - We thank Solomon Telekom for confirming their interests to host PacNOG 22 in Honiara. Other local partners to support local hosting including sponsors may be added in due course.
PacNOG Coordinating Committee - as usual the appreciation to the PacNOG partners namely APNIC, ICANN, NSRC and PITA for the PacNOG support and high level coordination
Trainers and Speakers - we thank APNIC for providing the trainers/experts for the workshop tracks. Also our thanks in advance to the speakers and expert resources (to be named) who are to be confirmed soon contributing to the conference and tutorial session.
