The topic is
*""How do we better engage young people socially, economically and politically?"*
Follow her and engage in the discussions, share with your network to participate.
Also follow *@JosephCorrie1 *who has been raising some interesting issues about the challenges that *Banabans have faced with threats to their culture and knowledge systems* due to the forced migration.
Kind Regards,

Hi Sala
Trust you're well - Im just gearing up on this end for the start of the global tweetathon. I have made contact with all the youth networks I know of on every network Im on in Fiji and the region - so its looking good. We have people from the Solomons, Vanuatu and even a few Maori youths are looking to join this dialogue as well.
I am tweeting from my own account @ Niumai Kavoa as its presented a bit of a challenge finding the handle for the Apprentice account @ apprenticeyouth but I should have that up and running soon as well.
The team is all good to go - everyone is just finding a laptop and a modem and are well on their way to kick things off to a great start. I have made contact with Dr Francis Bobongie who is the co host with me for the Pacific leg - she's great! we are not twitter savy but we have agreed to both give this a go and see through the discussions of our beloved Pacific Islands - it should certainly be interesting!
I am looking forward to the collaborative efforts of all or any Pacific representative on this as it helps to shape the outcome of what is really going on on the ground here. I have never been so proud to be a Pacific Islander like I am today - this is home! and we will do our best in ensuring we give a good solid contribution to this dialogue.
Thanks again for this! regards!
Niumai
