Okie, so as I see the outage lasted for ~1 hour. I am not sure how FASTLY manages their content & request-for-content distribution. Most likely all requests from our network were redirected to un-affected nodes. And part of requests from your network ended up being redirected to affected nodes. Maybe the content requested from our network still had a valid TTL on the nearest node. ;)

Then there are other factors that are taken into account - like the content that was requested from either network, reachability for respective networks from various FASTLY nodes etc. A well connected network is less likely to be affected by the outage when compared to a "not so well connected" network.
