Now logging in... * *** Looking up your hostname * *** Checking Ident * *** Couldn't look up your hostname * *** No ident response * *** APNIC users, to continue to connect you must type /QUOTE PASS 48017
Hi Suresh,
This may be a dumb question on my part, but who are undernet and why would I care?
Can you elaborate on what this is about please?

That'd be the Undernet IRC network, irc.undernet.org and http:// www.undernet.org/. It's one of the largest IRC networks, and quite popular globally. I'm not sure why at least one server has taken this action, but it's probably due to rampant abuse from some APNIC- assigned ranges. Just a guess there. This may cause quite a rumpus among your sundry customers.

Only the dumb ones, those whom haven't yet updated their bots to return the nonce?
