As part of the implementation of prop-150 (https://www.apnic.net/community/policy/proposals/prop-150/), APNIC is no longer permitting the use of private, reserved, or unallocated ASNs in RPKI ROAs created via MyAPNIC, or in Whois route objects in general. This change was implemented on 24 July. The corresponding update to the APNIC Internet Number Resource Policies document is available at https://www.apnic.net/community/policy/resources#a_h_10_6. For the objects in RPKI and Whois that currently make use of private, reserved, or unallocated ASNs, APNIC is co-ordinating removal of those objects with the relevant account holder.
Feedback on the implementation of this change can be sent to this mailing list (apnic-services@apnic.net) or to software@apnic.net (for private feedback). For feedback about the policy change itself, please see https://www.apnic.net/community/policy/policy-sig/.
