APNIC seeks final editorial comments on the following draft document:
* APNIC Fee Schedule: Membership Tiers, Fees, and Descriptions
The document has been updated to reflect the decision made by the APNIC EC (Executive Council) on 15 April to implement the following fee changes:
- A 90% discount will be applied to the per address fees for allocations of IPv6 address space to NIR members with existing IPv4 infrastructure. This is in recognition that such networks have already received address space from APNIC, for which per-address fees have previously been paid.
- Per address fees for allocations of IPv6 address space to confederation members will be waived, on the understanding and condition that all such members will maintain a single pool of IPv6 address space.
The EC believes these policy changes are a progressive step which equalise allocation conditions among APNIC members, and hopes this will facilitate IPv6 deployment.
