Join the Networking from Home events from June 2 ________________________________________________________________________
APNIC is today launching 'Networking from Home' (NFH), a new series of virtual technical events for the Internet operations community to share their experience and expertise with their peers.
There will be four free online events – one each held in the time zones of South East Asia, South Asia, East Asia and Oceania – and they will be a digestible 2.5 hours long.
The first event will be held on 2 June 2020 and the final event on 4 August 2020. The NFH website provides more information on the events, program submissions, how to participate and more.
APNIC’s Geoff Huston will deliver a different keynote at each event, and he’ll be supported by a range of great speakers suggested by the Network Operator Group (NOG) communities. Presentations will be short and engaging, and interaction is encouraged.
This initiative is in response to the cancellation or postponement of most NOG meetings and other technical events in the region due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The NFH events are supported by 21 NOGs in the Asia Pacific region and NOG representatives will staff the Program Committees.
If you have a presentation in mind, please get in touch with the Program Committees for the events – submissions are welcome and timelines are short.
Everyone is welcome to join any or all of the events as an attendee.
