Dear All, Call for Session - The 7th Bangladesh School of Internet Governance 2023 [image: 🇧🇩] is open. Bangladesh School of Internet Governance (bdSIG) is announcing the 7th edition of the school of IG program on 23, 24 & 25 February 2023 in physical format at Dhaka.
As usual, we are making a call for people to submit proposals for talks at Bangladesh School of Internet Governance (bdSIG) 2023 that would be of interest to the internet users’ community, i.e. technical presentations and not sales talks.
We strongly encourage you to hear from the contributors. Hence, we are especially interested in contributors who can share what they know! (For example, sharing experiences about COVID-19 impacts, deployments, or other things that may impact the activities of IGF).
*Notes To Presenter*
Preference will be given to thought-provoking/controversial or technological advancement presentations that result in actual operational outcomes.
Speaking slots are typically 30 minutes, including Q&A time, although we can accommodate a limited number of requests for 45 minutes slots. We would also entertain requests for 15 minutes presentations. There will be a call for lightning talks (5 minutes) after the sessions.
By submitting a presentation for consideration in the Bangladesh School of Internet Governance (bdSIG) 2023 program, and if selected the presenter will allow bdSIG 2023 to :
- Take photographs of the presentation and presenter - Record and rebroadcast video and audio of the presentation and presenter - Redistribute the presentation slides, audio, video, and photographs electronically, on the Bangladesh School of Internet Governance website, or otherwise but leaving all intellectual property in the hands of the presenter or rightful property holder
*Deadline*
- Submission of presentation title, presentation description (300 words), and presenter biography (150 words): 25 January 2023 - Presenters will be notified of their acceptance status as a Bangladesh School of Internet Governance (bdSIG) 2023 presenter: 28 January 2023 - Submission of final presentation slides as *PowerPoint or Keynote*(<10MB) and a recent digital photograph (<500KB) of the presenter: 31 January 2023
All submissions MUST be sent by email to bangladeshsig@gmail.com* or call us at +8809696936241. *
*NB:* Bangladesh School of Internet Governance (bdSIG) accepts that some speakers are unable to allow us to archive their presentation due to company or corporate policy, and if the situation arises Bangladesh School of Internet Governance (bdSIG) will delete all copies in its possession after the presentation.
*Thanks & Regards, Sayda Kamrun Jahan Ripa Chairperson, Youth IGF Bangladesh *
