Register now for APNIC 58, held in Te Whanganui a Tara Wellington, 
Aotearoa New Zealand from 30 August to 6 September 2024. The event is 
proudly hosted by InternetNZ and will be held at the Takina Wellington 
Convention & Exhibition Centre.

APNIC 58 brings you four days of workshops on network security and 
network automation, and three days of conference sessions, featuring 
Internet leaders from all over the region and Oceania sharing their 
network operations experience. There will also be tutorials available to 
extend your learning.

​​​​​​​APNIC is pleased to announce two partner meetings will be held during 
the conference — the Pacific Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2024 on 2 
and 3 September 2024 and the InternetNZ Registrar Day on 4 September 
2024.  

APNIC will also farewell Director General Paul Wilson during the 
conference.

workshop fees. Please note, APNIC Members will be entitled to register 
for one free ticket to the conference, with all other registrations at the 
standard rate of USD 75. You will not be able to submit an in-person 
registration without first paying in full. If you're joining the event

Share your Internet operations experience
-----------------------------------------------------

You have until 27 June 2024 to submit a presentation for APNIC 58.

Topics for the conference sessions must be relevant to Internet 
operations and technologies and include:

    - IP core network routing, switching
    - IPv6 deployment and transition technologies
    - Access and transport networks including Cable/DSL, LTE/5G, 
      wireless, metro Ethernet, fibre, segment routing
    - Cybersecurity, network security issues (NSP-SEC, DDoS, anti-spam, 
      anti-malware) and BCPs
    - Software-defined networking, network function virtualization, and 
      network automation
    - Content and service delivery (multicast, voice, video, 
      telepresence, gaming) and cloud computing
    - DNS / DNSSEC and RPKI
    - IXPs and peering
    - Internet of Things (IoT) architectures, standards, services, 
      security, addressability, and manageability
    - Smart cities architecture, security, and addressing
    - Research on Internet operations and deployment

Prospective presenters should note that the majority of speaking slots 
will be filled well before the final submission deadline. The PC will 
retain a limited number of slots up to the final submission deadline for 
presentations that are exceptionally timely, important, or of critical 
operational importance.
